Retrieve and post comments to work items

I love this MCP server, already saves me quite some effort when managing the backlog. I'd love to see support for retrieving comments from the work items and posting comments as well. I might be able to scope some time out in order to help.

What tools do you use? Windsurf/cursor or copilot workspaces @Tiberriver256 ?

Hey @jjczopek! Glad you're finding it useful, and I would definitely love some extra help!

I use Cursor and rely heavily on the project-management/startup.xml file. I typically start with a really high-level issue like this, then login as myself to the GitHub cli and do something like:

Can you use @startup.xml to complete this issue? #94. Use the gh cli to update comments on the issue as you work.

During the research phase, the AI should flesh out the issue to something like this one, then implement it, open a PR for you, and open your browser to the PR.

A couple of notes:

• If you're on Linux, make sure the hooks are executable
• If you want to run integration tests locally, you'll need to set up an .env file linked to a real Azure DevOps repository that you don't mind having random work items created in. setup_env.sh should automate the process if you prefer.
• You're the first person other than me to contribute, so I apologize for any rough edges you might find and also thank you for finding them and helping me iron them out. Would welcome any extra docs to the Contributing.md you feel would be relevant for others.

As long as the the docker container has node installed in it you should be able to run this package inside the docker container.
