Tablet Device for Wallpanel

Hi Colleagues,

i use since many years wallpanel on different tablet devices (Samsung A7, Lenovo M10, Samsung Note 3 ... ) with different sizes to control my HomeAutomation... i think most of you do the same.

My problem is not related to the wallpanel software but to the device where this is running and hope that some of you have long experience with this...

My Samsung A7 battery is bloating every 2 years :-) ... and i need to replace it...
(The tablets are mounted on the wall and have an permanent power supply ... so a battery may not be needed, but Tab A7 do not work without ... even if the power supply deliver enough)

My question is: what device do you use over the years ? or do you know an solution how the "cheat" the tablet the existence of an battery ?... something like "hey Tab the battery is attached and 100% full" :-)
