How to have a string with colored text that can be printed later?

I am trying the Rich capture example on windows 10 with the standard cmd.exe shell but it doesn't work as expanded. The captured text is shown as ansi sequence instead of in colors.

Any suggestions how to fix it?

I am using Python 3.13 and Rich 14.0.0

Test program

from rich.console import Console

console = Console()
console.print("[bold magenta]Hello World[/]")

with console.capture() as capture:
    console.print("[bold magenta]Hello World[/]")
print(capture.get())

Result

[zapta]

It seems that there is a way to resurrect the ansi string using Text.from_ansi()

from rich.console import Console
from rich.text import Text

console = Console()

with console.capture() as capture:
    console.print("[bold magenta]Hello World[/]", end="")

ansi = capture.get()

# These show the ansi sequences
print(ansi)
console.print(ansi)

# This prints the message but without color
print(Text.from_ansi(ansi))

# This prints with color
console.print(Text.from_ansi(ansi))
