Would like the ability to fail back to localhost for specified services.
I do self-hosting of my own domain. When on the road, it's desirable to use the same fqdns and point them to my local docker services instead of my RFC1918 addressed services.
I may possibly just be approaching this wrong. How should this be done?

Thanks for asking. You can use the Split Horizon app or use Conditional Forwarder Zone which you enable when on road. But it really depends on where your DNS server is hosted and how are you going to access it. So, let me know the setup in more details to be able to give better suggestions.
