DNS Zone Template

Can you add DNS Zone Template system on technitium? Cause every time adding records manually painful like SOA,NS

Thanks for the post. There is no explicit template feature but you can still have the same functionality in two different ways: using zone clone or using import zone option while creating zone.

For first method, you need to have a zone which you will use as a template and add the relevant records in it. Then use the clone option when you need to create a new zone. You can name this template zone with a specific name to identify it in the list.

The second method is to have a text file which has all the DNS records exported in text format. Then use this text zone file when you create a new zone which will populate the zone will all the records. The only thing to note here is that all records must use relative domain names so that it works for all zones when you import it.
