Any reason to not activate "dropMalformedRequests" in Drop Requests app? #1277
-
Basically title, Which made me suspect that there maybe is something to consider before activating this? Is there a downside? |

Thanks for asking. This option will just drop any request which failed to parse without any logs. So if this is enabled by default, it would be impossible to know the reason the request failed to be parsed. This option is intended to be used only when the operator gets swamped by too many malformed requests and they want to stop them from being logged. |
