Frequent update check logs

Hello,

I see a lot of request to check for update on my logs, is it a normal behavior ?

Thanks for asking. The update check is done only when you login to the admin panel or refresh the web page so as to show the update notification to the user. The update check is never done otherwise in background.

It looks like the page is being refreshed every minute for some reason causing the update check call being made which logs this as an event in logs.

Ok, I left my window open on dashboard, that explain things. I hope it don't create a DOS on your side. ;-).

You're welcome. No issues with DoS since the DNS server caches the response locally and then uses it for any subsequent requests till cache expires.
