It would be nice if the app could use an external authentication method. I currently use Authelia with an LDAP backend, and one app that integrates with it in a simple manner inspecting headers and verifying the user, and others use Authelia's beta OpenID integration.

The external auth doesn't have to make use of Authelia, but it would be nice even if it could integrate with LDAP directly.
