Using Amaze as a notebook with encryption #1484

Hi all,

I love AmazeFileManager and recently I discovered encryption option in the application. So I tried to use it with it's nice and neat text editor.

  1. I create a new file and name it test.txt for example
  2. I type some text in the file and save it
  3. Then I encrypt the file with a password
  4. Now I delete the original file
  5. I open encrypted file, and I enter the password
  6. Now I edit opened file and I press "Save" button, is says OK and I close the file
  7. But if I open the file again, there will be no changes that I made after encryption.

So I have few questions:

  1. When is says OK after saving, does it really save unencrypted text somewhere in the temporary files may be? I don't want to have my private notes saved in unsecured space.
  2. Is it possible somehow to save changes in the encrypted file? It would be great if new changes would be encrypted and saved.
  3. May be you can suggest me some other nice notebook application with encryption? Preferably open-source. There are so many notebook apps in Google Play, that I cannot choose something great.

Thanks in advance!
