Correct way to type component props with withForm

Hi! I was reviewing the documentation and I see that the example for withForm shows how to define string props, like this:

const ChildForm = withForm({
  defaultValues: {
    firstName: 'John',
    lastName: 'Doe',
  },
  props: {
    title: 'Child Form',
  },
  render: function Render({ form, title }) {
    // ...
  },
});

My question is:
If I want to pass more complex props — for example, functions, booleans, or custom objects — how can I specify the type of those props correctly?

Right now, it seems like I'm supposed to write all the props inline in the props object, but I don't see a clear way to type them explicitly. Is there a recommended approach to define and enforce prop types when using withForm?

I am also trying to get this to work as alternative to #1335, but I couldn't get it to work so far.

I was trying this as well but with no success - today I did a fresh reinstall and it seems to work, probably my TS compiler was tired 😄 . I will try this extensively tomorrow and will add something in case it stops working for some edge cases again.

Yes, this will work for any type. Just keep in mind that Interfaces are not indexable (and cannot be assigned to props: Record<string, unknown>), so they would not be assignable like this.
