Have you selected the correct protocoll between Unicast and Multicast, in the gateway config window?

It was working since month with "Tunnel UDP".

Changing from "Tunnel UDP" to "Multicast" leads to this log:

Your eth0 172.18.0.3","netmask":"255.255.0.0 Is outside the 192.168.7.18 of your knx interface.
Do you forward udp packets via a router? Do you have Unifi Ubiquity stuffs?

eth0 "172.18.0.3","netmask":"255.255.0.0" these settings are part of the Docker network, the KNX interface is pingable within Node-Red.

Will try to reset the KNX IP interface settings.

The KNX connection stack is the same since about a year. Anyway, the socket cannot connect to your KNX interface, so the KNX engine is unable to setup a proper connection.
I see someone is responding to the connection request from the KNx Engine, but i never seen “invalid connection type” error.

It seems that changing settings of the KNX IP interface are the solution. Maybe the secure / non secure settings of the tunnel parameter.
