Definitely interested in adding support for Education Edition-exclusive blocks.
For the material list item aux ids, I was thinking of generating mojang-blocks.json with Education Edition blocks, which should be possible according to https://github.com/MCBE-Development-Wiki/bds-generated-data. I would want this to be automated somehow...
