Video player options greyed out, regardless of settings.xml

The video player settings in options are all greyed out, regardless of VLC or MPC-HC portable location set in settings.xml. Version is beta.

Regarding VLC, you probably need the 64-bit version, like this: https://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/3.0.21/win64/vlc-3.0.21-win64.7z

About MPC-HC... do provide more details, but again do use the 64-bit version, like: https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/releases/download/2.4.1/MPC-HC.2.4.1.x64.zip

Also note that mpv is the recommended player.

I noticed that the default w11 x64 directshow quartz.dll would not open video in subtitle edit's V3 or V4, which claims that the 100MB+ MPV should be installed. V2 has no issue using directshow .
