Question I have about SCC files in Subtitle Edit and their timecodes. SCC TC normally has buffering built in that is roughly 1 frame for every 4-byte group in the event. So the human readable TC in the SCC is not where it should appear in the video. Subtitle Edit seems to only express the human readable TC (absolute TC) from the SCC.
Is there a way for Subtitle Edit to do the buffering calculation on each event and translate that to the TC where it will display? Otherwise you cannot convert an SCC into another format. You end up getting just the absolute TC in the export. Not where it should really display.
