Previous code not working because of some Tensorflow migrations

The previous code on the Github repo was not running successfully because of some Tensorflow migrations, so I made some quick fixes just to get it working which I am posting here. Even when running it right now, it throws many warnings which will soon need to be addressed. I hope this can help for now (the changes are just to get the code running, how it affects performance or optimization has not been considered)
