An official place/hub to publish custom widgets

I think there should be a common place where everyone can share custom widgets. Something I noticed from netlify-cms is that there were alot of widget ideas, some custom widgets, and some widgets being merged, all at different time points, scattered throughout issues.

There was this repo: https://github.com/d4rekanguok/netlify-cms-widgets, that hosted some custom widgets, one of which was the relation widget.

I think something like this, but official, would be a good step towards creating an engaging community for Static CMS.
I'm imagining the ability to share custom widgets, creating an instance of the app using that widget, providing a usage guide, and having it be listed amongst all other custom widgets.

I don't know how this would be done. Perhaps using a subdomain where the docs are, or maybe using a repository.
