I just want to share that after decades of distro hopping, Debian based distros are my favorite and Spiral (XFCE) is my favorite of all the others. I love the simplicity & stability as well as the small size and barebones feel. With a 30GB internal hard drive, it's exactly what I needed. I don't use the Snapper feature because it uses too much disk space but, I have become a Pro at wiping and re-installing over the years and have never ran into any issues with installing Spiral with a ventoy usb. I appreciate all your work. Thank you!
