Strange GTK theme after Trixie update using KDE

The theme for libreoffice after upgrading to Trixie is terrible looking. Please see attached screenshot.

what could possible cause this? Anyway to use stock plasma theme? I unchecked numix theme under settings for GTK and using default theme. but not luck..

Hi there, in order to make LibreOffice obey the selected GTK theme, the libreoffice-gtk3 package needs to be installed, maybe it got uninstalled during the upgrade. Or maybe the libreoffice-gtk4 package got automatically installed, which I'm pretty sure will not work with Numix. Or alternatively, if you want it to obey the Qt theme for Plasma you'll need either libreoffice-qt5 or libreoffice-qt6, I'm not sure which for Trixie. Test just one LibreOffice theming support package at a time until it works the way you want it.

many thanks for the tip. The following package did the trick.

I wasn't aware that there is a separate gtk package. I learnt something new :)

To fix:

sudo apt install libreoffice-gtk3
