Ecode on Arcan

This question stems from curiosity. I don't use Arcan. I don't know anything about it.

I have no idea, by reading the About section I can hardly get a grasp of what it is. It seems too wide to understand where ecode would fit in. I don't think I can give you any meaningful and informed answer. But as far I can understand it provides a multimedia framework that could be used as a windowing backend in ecode, but don't trust me because I have no idea about this project, I don't see anything interesting to continue reading about it either.

I don't understand, either. What I know is Arcan is usually being mentioned on X11 vs Wayland threads. It's kind of an alternative to X11 and Wayland. There is a desktop environment based on Arcan named Durden.

You will see sdl2 on the list of Arcan's dependencies:

Since Ecode is also a sdl2 application, I'm really curious if it will run on Arcan unmodified.
