Avalanche is a project built on values. Software changes, but values shouldn't.

Translation of skills

Someone who is at home with Rock should feel comfortable with their church app. Concepts that they learned before should translate directly to the app. This includes users, admins, and developers.

Accommodate Change

Churches go though cycles and seasons. Accommodating last minute church wide initiatives should not become a software emergency.

App Like Apps

Apps should look and feel native. Webviews are a jarring experience and should only be used as a last resort.

Big Heaven

The worker is due his wages, but Jesus flips tables. An app can be a great tool to help church members grow and share. Churches should not need to make major sacrifices to have an app.
