As you know the first person hands(viewmodel) in the world center(0, 0, 0), so hands doesnt take lighting from nearby liight sources and the most annoying thing is that hands black at night even if you stay in front light source:
If viewmodel copy character position, it will be much better:
Also if it will be fixed, you can get rid of emitter that simulates light in first person(you can use light directly from viewmodel) and the best it make possible to create thermal scopes(with crutches but anyway)!
