May be useful for Gun type items, that arent really supposed to be guns, but made as guns to work as author intended. Also Dexterity skill messes up animations and sounds, if they are supposed to play at the exact speed, since it speeds them up.
Speaking on this whole skills thing:
We finally got the ability to disable Farming skill for plants (a feature we needed for a very long time) and such ability for all the skills that affect items would be nice, because the way skills are enforced by the game can ruin the whole concept of item made by modder, so I really think it would be nice for them to be adjustable, instead of being mandatory.
Multipliers for various skill bonuses would also be nice. Like setting Dexterity multiplier for a gun to 0.5 would make it get only +25% reload speed instead of +50% with the maxed out Dexterity skill.
