Why not keep CAN bus support?

Hi, while researching how to approach my system integration with HA and 3 JK BMSs with EG4 inverter...
I've found a no longer maintained repo that looked like it had CAN support for getting data from JK BMS.
Why not preserve that support?
Did it not work well?

I am trying to figure out what is the most straight fwd way to integrate all the pieces, would really appreciate some guidance and avoid dead ends / wasted weeks.

Because I have not found CAN examples here.

I don't understand Yambms does support CAN

I have my JK BMS connected via CAN

JKBMS - via Bluetooth to S3lite with CAN interface - cable to Victron Cerbo GX CAN interface

Is this BLE connection stable/reliable like wired connection??

Bluetooth consumes a lot of DRAM and is sometimes less stable (reboot) than UART/RS485. With an ESP32-S3 you can monitor 3x JK-B.

Depending on the model and version of your JK-B (I'm not talking about the JK-PB inverter BMS here), it is possible to monitor it in 3 different ways :

• Bluetooth ( Bluetooth consumes a lot of DRAM and is sometimes less stable (reboot) than UART/RS485. With an ESP32-S3 you can monitor 3x JK-B )
• UART 4G-GPS protocol ( max 3x JK-B )
• UART JK RS485 ( only for the latest hardware/firmware versions, multiple JK-B can be monitored from a single RS485 connection )
