Description
Bug description
2025-06-17.11-51-21.mp4
When i open the game, whether the mc server is open or not (it wasnt in this clip) the game updates the mods folder and deletes fabric and some of automod's other dependencies.
when it has done this, the game refuses to launch.
the only way i can launch my game is by removing automod and adding fabric back in.
i have no idea what is going on or how to fix it, but ive tried using fresh instances on at launcher and it has not fixed the problem. it was working completely fine 20 minutes ago.
Steps to reproduce
- launch game
- watch mods folder
Expected behavior
mods folder is untouched
Actual behavior
mods folder is edited
