Should I be using memo with Flashlist?

I have an issue where my items get duplicated again and again when paginating the list, and as soon as I remove my memo function it starts to work again, am I doing something wrong?

Yes, offcourse this is the best practice

I understand, but am i doing something wrong with memo? because I've tried everything and my items keep getting duplicated
