Input not work

I start with an Empty CPP project , and install plugins , setup Enhanced Input Component as default input component , but it's just no any response ...

Yes, I checked for ALS_CharacterBP. The left mouse button works. But doesn't work for child class BP_ARPG_Character.
I'm merging the ALS plugin with a Action RPG Template System

what I understand is that you have a BP_ARPG_Character that inherit from...ALS_CHaracterBP ?
are you using ALS input mapping context ? how is your LMB click trigger defined ? are you using the ALS_Player_Controller as default class ? what does your ALS_CharacterBP looks like ? (especially the function you want to be triggered on LMB click) can't really help you if you don't provide technical details

The ALS_CHaracterBP is a standard one from the plugin, nothing has been changed in it. BP_ARPG_Character, inherits from ALS_CHaracter.
BP_ARPG_PlayerController inherits from ALS_Player_Controller. The left mouse button does not work in ALS_Player_Controller

I think I see where the probleme is, that's not how input work within ALS , let me bring you some details :

How does ALSPlayerController work ?

the "magic" behind the IMC_default mapping context rely on this function :

if you are not familiar to C++ this function basically mean :
map every action defined in the input mapping context and for every input call the corresponding function on the controller

for example :
when you trigger the space bar -> its mapped to to the JumpAction (because the name is JumpAction) -> call ALSPlayercontroller->JumpAction()

which then call this function

as you can read, this function then call the JumpAction function from your character. for the JumpAction example it correspond to this function

so to resume : push a button -> is there an associated action in IMC_default ? -> call ALSPlayerController::JumpAction() -> call ALSBaseCharacter::JumpAction() -> which is a blueprintNativeEvent -> is there a jumpAction() defined in character blueprint ? -> yes : call the blueprint function, no ? call ALSBaseCharacter::JumpAction_Implementation()

so... how should you add an "Action" ?

• add an input to IMC_Default (you did it !) but I suggest you to rename it to the action behind the click probably "AttackAction"

• in your player controller add a function definition named exactly as your action name
  

this should work (at least it work for me)

but please note : this is a quik fix for your problem, my point of view is that is kind of ...ugly
