Import to Power BI online without desktop app

Is there a way to set this up through the Power BI website without using the desktop application? There is no desktop app for Mac. Power BI online only allows upload of PBIX files.

I will include the .pbix file in the repository. I should be able to just point them to the demo files so it doesn't immediately error. You would just need to update the parameters in Power Query to your own file and folder locations, which should be pretty straightforward. I'm working on documentation for it.
