The lock should become available as long as home assistant is able to scan BLE through an adapter or other BLE proxy. I had to do quite a bit of troubleshooting to get mine to show up as the BLE proxy needed to be in the same VLAN for connectivity. The BLE adapter or dongle also need to be in range of the lock for anything to work. |

Hi! I read all the info here about the development of the Wyze Lock Bolt's compatibility. As far as I can tell (there isn't much info in the readme either), I need the custom component and Bluetooth. So, I plugged in a Bluetooth adapter that is recognized in Home Assistant and set up the custom component.
I saw my lock in the component, but it is unavailable. Do I need to buy a Bluetooth proxy?
Thanks
