need help figuring out if i should make issue or not about UV tool installation

hi! uh the title is mostly it i just need help figuring out if i should make an issue as UV has a feature called tools and i feel they should be installed/linked to the persistent Dir of scoop and be added to the path
is this a reasonable (first) issue? and if so do i just use the default bug report template or something else?

You can create issue or PR directly.

I don’t use uv, so I don’t know which directory needs to be persistent.

Ty fair point its the env "UV_INSTALL_DIR" (default ~/.local/bin )
i remember this is used for tools (and self installs if i remember correctly)

UV_TOOL_BIN_DIR

Specifies the "bin" directory for installing tool executables.
UV_TOOL_DIR

Specifies the directory where uv stores managed tools.

I think you are talking about this. We can handle environment variables like main/go.
