Description
Particular Initial Conditions Break The Solver
I was running a large number of trajectories for charged particles in electromagnetic field. At least one of the trajectories in the ensemble produce the error in the title. This behavior appears spuriously for certain arguments of setup_laser
and the reltol
, abstol
arguments respectively.
Expected behavior
When running solve
with the particular arguments presented in the MRE, the trajectory of at least the particular particle with initial coordinates

The initial conditions would normally be generated using a function which takes the physical size and the number of particles as arguments. Here I used the UInt64 to Float64 in order to ensure no floating point shenanigans.
