Yes. To unlock the bootloader:

1. I turned off the phone.
2. Press and hold the volume up + volume down buttons at the same time and connect the USB cable.
3. Press and hold the volume up button.
4. Click volume up once. The phone has been formatted.
5. Then you patch the "AP" file you need with magisk.
6. Then, you insert the patched file into the AP section of ODIN. After adding it to the others, you load the operating system into the phone in "download mode".

I couldn't turn off the OEM option because it was grayed out. . So the official (not mod) whatsapp doesn't work. I removed the root and reinstalled the official firmware. Offical WhatsApp is working now. Whatsapp will not work on rooted devices this way

It is possible to make whatsapp work on rooted devices, typically with trickystore, play integrity fix, BetterKnownInstalled etc.

there's a bunch of suggestions on the waenhancer telegram:

Prerequisite:

• Ability to read and inform yourself in the forums. -- Any files can also be found by searching.

• Bootloader is open

• Device is certified

• Device is rooted with Magisk Alpha, KSU, Apatch, Magisk, KSU Next et cetera

• AK3 Flasher

Fastboot:

fastboot flash boot boot.img

ADB:

adb sideload ak3.zip

Module:

• Zygisk Next
• Tricky Store (Applications are automatically added to target.txt, then use this)
• LSPosed: JingMatrix or Irena or IT
• Play Integrity Fix or Inject or Fork
• Shamiko
• BetterKnownInstalled
• ksu_module_susfs (the kernel must support this and is for KernelSu)

There are of course other modules that I will not go into here. These are modules that I use and that work.

Required modules for LSPosed:

• Updatelocker
• WA Enhancer
• Hide my Applist - Guide or HMAL
• Bootloadspoofer (aosp keybox) or try this Chiteroman, when not use TS and Keybox

I would also like to point out that the configurations are different on every mobile phone. Problems can occur on custom roms. For me, everything works on Stockrom.

Please note that you should not necessarily update via the Playstore or install it via the Playstore. You can do this, but only the first time you install Whatsapp.

And of course you should have set everything up before you start WhatsApp or register.
