The issue may not related to Aerexplorer because the Seven and Metro variants work properly, whether Aerexplorer is enabled.

Try enabling SysListView32 for your explorer views, you can do it with the "Enable SyslistView32" or "Aerexplorer" Windhawk mods. This is what Vista used, so it may work better.

After enabled SyslistView32, column widths in "Details" view can be adjusted.
But it seems that SysListView32 does not have good support for 200% DPI, affects all themes.
