include relevant figures that we have on hand #17

@teixeirak

Description

@teixeirak

We have a lot of relevant figures that could be nice to include, which would require minimal if any modification from existing versions (note that for published papers, we'd need to be sure to follow copyright rules, and in many cases it may be faster just to modify the figure).

Here's the start of a list:

  • @mcgregorian1 's vertical climate profiles from NEON (section 2.2)
  • @mcgregorian1 's map of topographic wetness index (section 2.4)
  • @teixeirak's figures showing change in biomass (ready) and species abundance (easy to make) from the Shenandoah analysis (section 4)
  • mortality census results (section 4, maybe renamed to include community change)
  • temporal trends in abundance/biomass/mortality rate for some species of interest (e.g., ash)--can be produced easily using code from Shenandoah analysis (section 2)
  • tree ring/ climate sensitivity results

We have other figures from our publications that should be easy to include. This list is not complete.

We will not have time to include everything that would fall under this category, but it would be easy to get at least some of it in.
