I'm exploring a potential fix for this issue where images larger than 5MB fail to upload with Anthropic API. I'll implement image compression to handle large images before sending them to the API.

I've created PR #8772 to address this issue: #8772

The implementation includes:

• Automatic compression for images over 5MB using the sharp library
• Progressive quality reduction strategy (up to 5 attempts)
• Format conversion (PNG to JPEG) when needed for better compression
• Image resizing as a fallback if compression alone isn't sufficient
• User-friendly progress notifications and success messages
• Comprehensive test coverage

The solution ensures that images are compressed to under 5MB before being sent to the Anthropic API, preventing the upload failures you were experiencing. The compression process is transparent to users with clear feedback about the size reduction.

Some CI checks are showing failures, but these appear to be unrelated to the image compression changes (they're failing in the integration tests that don't involve the new compression functionality). The code quality checks, compilation, and static analysis all pass successfully.

Along with size restrictions, it seems there are dimension limits too

how where you even able to upload a image? i cant upload anything since its greyed out for me..
