I'm exploring a potential fix for replacing the architect and ask icons with no-color professional-grade icons that better match the VSCode and Roo Code UI design. I'll share progress via a PR.

I've opened PR #8730 with my attempt at addressing this issue: #8730

The PR replaces the emoji icons with professional text-based names as requested:

• ✅ Architect mode: "🏗️ Architect" → "Architect"
• ✅ Ask mode: "❓ Ask" → "Ask"

I also updated the debug and orchestrator modes for consistency, while keeping the code mode icon unchanged as mentioned in the issue.

Note: There's currently one failing integration test that appears to be checking for the exact mode names with emojis. This will need to be addressed. Feedback welcome!
