Current Situation

• ✅ Roo-Code currently provides full conversation export functionality in History
• ❌ No selective export option (exports include tool usage, file operations, etc.)
• ❌ No conversation import functionality in History
• ❌ Exported files are too large and contain unnecessary technical details

Requested Features

1. Clean Text Export in History

Description: Export conversations with only essential text content in chronological order
Include:

• User tasks (<task> content)
• User messages (<user_message> content)
• User feedback (<feedback> content)
• AI responses (main text responses, excluding tool outputs)
• Conversation metadata (timestamp, model used, etc.)
• Maintain chronological conversation order

Exclude:

• Tool execution logs
• File read/write operations
• System messages and debugging info
• Environment details

2. Conversation Import in History

Description: Allow users to import previously exported conversations into History
Functionality:

• Load conversation history into current session
• Maintain conversation context and continuity
• Support both full and clean export formats
• Preserve conversation threading and chronological order
