Making a Chrome extension to interface with Roo Code

I've been thinking about how I could cut down costs on API usage, and one idea that's popped to my mind is using the Gemini/ChatGPT web UIs to send and receive requests, and since Roo Code already takes the API requests and converts them to actions on creating/reading/modifying files, executing terminal commands, using the browser and asking follow-up questions, it could receive this data instead from the web UI
