LLM choices for different agents. Token saving tips.

In Cline I used lower models for debugging tasks to save tokens but in Roo it seems impossible. There is only a handful of models that support computer use and it seems any model that can't is not usable. Am I missing something? I am working on a relatively simple web app and burned through 100$ in 3 days and am not even 1/3 done with it. Roo works a lot better than Cline but it is just getting too expensive. If use was not so expensive I could make amazing applications, even as an amateur coder.
