Ability to select which MCP Tool's each Mode has access to

My MCP Tool's list keeps growing, and I would like to allow specific tools for each mode, because a Testing mode needs a different tool set then a Planner or Developer, And some MCP server's have many tools that are not needed or wanted ( And the fewer tools you give the more likely they are to use the correct one )

Yes, totally agree! Configuring your custom modes in a .roomodes file is just perfect and the file also records which actions the agent mode can perform (read/write files, browse etc.) but I would really love an addtional config option where I can specify the mcp servers that the mode has access to in order to not pollute the context window with dozens of unnecessary MCP server definitions and keep the LLM focussed.

+1 To this, as MCP's grow in number, the LLM often gets confused with MCPs that might have similar names or common terms across them.

I've also agree this will be fine. This can be easy implemented after this PR will be merged. If it's required, i m ready to work to implement this feature too.

Would this be a big lift? It would be serious game changer for folks heavily using MCPs
