Scheduled Tasks missing

We've been using WAU since 1.19, deployed via Intune with the ADMX policies ingested. All has been working fine till the recent update to 2.4 and we've noticed it not running anymore. Investigating further, none of the Scheduled Tasks appear in the WAU folder. We've tried reinstalling via Intune (via winget) but whilst we see the installation is successful, we still aren't getting the Scheduled Tasks. Is there an extra step we need to be doing on install to get these tasks to appear, or is the a remediation we can run to reinstate them?

I experienced a similar issue recently. I thought it was a mistake on my side. Reinstalling the MSI from here worked as expected. I don't know why it happened from winget and not with the direct MSI, or even from the WAU self-update.

OK, I'll try redeploying via the MSI file and I'll report back the result to confirm. Once deployed via MSI, can I then use winget to update the app itself, or will I need to keep updating the win32app periodically?

DISABLEWAUAUTOUPDATE
Default value 0. Set DISABLEWAUAUTOUPDATE=1 to disable Winget-AutoUpdate self update checking. By default, WAU auto updates if new version is available on Github.

Don't forget to disable WinGet updates = default_excluded:apps.txt has:

By default, it is included in the exclusion list to avoid conflicts between WAU being updated by Winget during the WAU process and the WAU self-update process, similar to how browsers handle their own updates.

So, you have 3 options:

• DISABLEWAUAUTOUPDATE=1 and Romanitho.Winget-AutoUpdate in the excluded app list:
  You must manually build your Win32 apps each time you want to upgrade.

• DISABLEWAUAUTOUPDATE=1 and Romanitho.Winget-AutoUpdate NOT in the excluded app list:
  WAU will update itself like any other Winget app.

• DISABLEWAUAUTOUPDATE=0 (or leave it unset, as this is the default) and Romanitho.Winget-AutoUpdate in the excluded app list (or not):
  WAU will update itself automatically if a newer version is detected on GitHub (and you can also enable pre-release builds).
