Hello, I'm David Hunt-Mateo. I go by MantisClone online. I'm a Senior Blockchain Engineer at the Request Network Foundation. I started back in November 2022. I improve and maintain the Request Network protocol while fostering an ecosystem of projects built on top. 👷 I'm happy to answer questions about Request Network and provide technical support to Builders in the Request Network ecosystem.

I've worked as a professional software developer for over 10 years. For the last two years, I've specialized in decentralized web3 technologies. Before joining Request Network, I spent over a year working at the Ocean Protocol Foundation and freelancing among several DAOs. Before that, I spent 3 years developing speech recognition and 4 years working in the defense industry.

On paper, I'm a contractor. Around the start of 2021, I set up a business entity to limit my personal liability, access affordable benefits, and pursue favorable tax treatment, all with 100% on-chain revenue.
