Hi, v240: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ULTRA motherboard with ITE IT8688E and ITE IT8792E Combo All fans working but only half of the fans controlled by FanControl, and the RPM is not registered properly by FanControl. Still investigating what is controlling those fans right now because they are doing much higher RPM then the ones controlled by FanControl. Best Regards |

Hi,
v240: GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO - Incomplete Fan Control with ITE IT8696E/AX + ITE IT87952E Combo
As per the title, while earlier versions of FanControl with the LibreHardwareMonitor and WinIO control kernel driver did control this mainboard and also report the fan speed sensors correctly, with PawnIO this is not the case.
It seems that the sensors and fan speeds are detected and can be monitored, only some of the fan speeds can be controlled within FanControl.
I appreciate this is a new software configuration, so what can we do as FanControl users to improve this?
Can we supply information to either FanControl, LibreHardwareMonitor or PawnIO to improve the situation for all users? 😊
Kind Regards
