Alternative to Winring0

I was searching for alternative to Winring0 on the web and found this, SafeRing0: A secure/limited alternative to WinRing0.

Our replacement for WinRing0 is called 0Ring (pun intended), and it's set for release in a couple of months. Designed with security and stability as top priorities, 0Ring will be a closed-source solution with the following key features

Will FanControl have the option to choose between PawnIO and 0Ring when they release it?

Also I cannot find how did PawnIO came to be, no introduction or anything, it just came to be and LHM implemented it unannounced, similarly to how FanControl did. Do you have any information on it, some original discussion thread that kickstarted it's implementation to LHM?

I haven't seen what 0ring looks like yet in the flesh, so I can't say if it will be viable or not. PawnIO though is open source, so it fits the LHM model much better at first glance, especially with its modular approach.

there is Cpuid-pro (Cpu-z) who have a Dev Kit but it look under a license and probably costly. I dont know what they are using. Once again I know nothing at software developement.
