Plugin Instructions not clear ? [ HwInfo related ] What am I doing wrong ?

That's the issue I'm trying to solve using HwInfo sensors.

I discovered months ago a difference in sensor perception, on the GPU Temp Sensors, between Afterburner and FanControl.

I supposed it was some transient reading of the Temp Sensor.
Wanted to check if with the Plugin I could stop fan ramping suddenly for a few seconds every 3<>2 minutes

To get HWInfo sensors, you need to "export them" through the gadget feature in HWInfo.

But your issue can be solved by adding hysteresis and response time to your graph/curves.

And I was using hysteresis long before the update that make things easier.

.. After flagging the Gadget option, I restarted HwInfo, then restarted FanControl.

At FC start I receive an error about initialization

If I "OK" it everything works fine, until I ask "refresh sensor detection" there I keep having the same error

Forgot to add this ... I use AMD sensor

And now I removed the files from plugin and disabled the HwInfo option as well ...
... FC is back to work without errors

You need to select individual temperature sensors on there, and activate the "sidebar" option for each of them. Badly worded on there, but basically this exports/writes the sensor data to the windows registry, from which the plugin can pick up the info.

Ok, I've found the way to enable then.

I banged the head on the wall three days, but now it's done!

The 3 minutes ramp-up of the fan kept going on even with the HwInfo sensors, so I digged deep in Asrock crap... because nothing was in BIOS.

found that... and now FC is in control and while the fan keep turning ON at 48° they take a lower and more quiet peak!!

PS: If you think my ability to write tutorial may be useful for you...

in the aspects I used in this thread with explaining images,
but up to you to modify it at your linking.
