Would it be possible for FanControl to use a nVidia L40 GPU sensor?

Hi everyone,
I just got an used L40 GPU from nVidia, and since it is passive-cooled, I had to modify it adding a couple of mini-fan (up to 15k rpm).
I can check the temperature of the L40 using a simple command in terminal: "nvidia-smi -q -d temperature". So the L40 has for sure a sensor for the GPU temperature, but FanControl does not recognize it.
Is there a way to make it work in FanControl? Anyone has any idea or had any experience on this?

FanControl doesn't have nvidia-smi support built-in. However there are a few ways the temperature could get baked in, mainly though a file sensor or a very simple plugin calling the nvidia-smi command.

Hi, thanks for your kind reply.
Btw, I managed to make it work, using HWInfo as plugin for FanControl, and now I have total control on the 2 mini-fan.
The only weird thing is that FanControl shows that the fans are going around 1.500rpm at 100%... but it should be around 15.000rpm at 100%... but no problem... it works great!
