Is there an option to MONITOR ONLY and not have it try to control fans?

I'm just trying to see what my system is doing on it's own and I'm not yet looking to have a 3rd party app control my fans.

Is there an option to run (even if it's a command line switch) to only monitor things?

If you don't toggle any control on, then yeah, it just monitors.
