Has Anyone Successfully Configured Gitea Mirror on a Synology NAS with container manager?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up Gitea Mirror on my Synology NAS using Docker, but I'm running into some configuration issues (CORS).

Has anyone here managed to get it working? If so, could you share your configuration or any tips/tricks that helped you get it running smoothly?

@arunavo4 thanks a lot, now I can log in.
I tried using Compose (it works flawlessly on my PC), but unfortunately on Synology this image needs to run with elevated privileges, because when running from Compose I get permission errors when it tries to create the Better Auth secret.

@DE8 Why dont you just generate the Secrets and supply it then it wont try to generate it on its own.

Supply the following and the script would skip generating them.

BETTER_AUTH_SECRET=<add-your-own-secret-length-32>
ENCRYPTION_SECRET=<add-your-own-secret-length-32>

Thanks, @arunavo4, I still encounter permission issues using compose (I think I'm missing some permission setting that I need to tweak for compose). The workaround I found is to run the container with elevated privileges. Now works flawlessly.
