AA forms - What is it and how to use it?

I see a lot of AA forms, from what i understand it is declared in domain. yml as a slot, and inside the mappings, there are several declaration, intent, type, value, conditions, and inside conditions there are declaration of active loop and requested_slot. Can anyone explain the usage of form and best practice when using them
