[BUG] Skins missing icons and models in fortnite

I Just started using rare cause i got fed up with epic games constantly deleting my data but it happens this one has a few bugs too not too bad ino just maybe it forgot to download them?

Selective downloads being outdated or faulty is the only thing that I can think of going wrong in the legendary/Rare side of things. Are you certain this is not a game issue or that it doesn't this happen with Epic Games Launcher?

nah even with epic launcher it never happened only time ive seen it is on this launcher but maybe its just a temp bug that will fix once i hop in game

From someone on Discord, check if this would work

Open up Fortnite folder where the game is installed, Fortnite/FortniteGame/Content/Paks
When u reach that folder, sort it by TYPE, and locate all the PAK files, delete all of THEM.
Then go to your launcher and verify your files, should work afterwards.

Do you mean optional downloads like disable cosmetic streaming?

Yes. I think someone posted a workaround to this issue, but I will have to find it again and update here.

you can do that from Fortnite's settings on Rare using the Modify button.

When I select it the modify button become grey and cant select it
I am on arch if this matters

This is not a general Fortnite support issue, nor it is a Q&A forum, let's not diverge the conversation here. If you have a real problem open a new issue describing the symptoms, how to reproduce, and attach the necessary logs.

Fortnite is not playable on Linux anyway.
