Swapping Pin mode of already set up pin

Hi,

I am rewriting the Arduino Keypad library and encountered a problem while implementing the scanKey() function. Specifically, I need to swap the pin modes for the column pins of the keypad. However, I have not found a way to do this using arduino_hal. Does anyone know how I could swap the pin modes here? Thanks in advance.

Is the discussion in #205 the kind of thing you are looking for? It's not yet implented on the main branch of avr-hal, unfortunately...
